How we handle the information you send us through this website.
Who we are
This website is run by Digital Eyewear Labs Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16348271). We're responsible for the information you send us through this website.
Registered office: 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF, United Kingdom.
For anything about your personal information, email [email protected].
What we collect
The only personal information we collect is what you type into the forms on this website: your name, email address, company, role, and your message, plus any choices you make in the form (such as estimated quantity or timeline).
This website doesn't use cookies or advertising trackers.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they view. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other websites, and doesn't identify you personally.
How we use it, and our legal basis
Data protection law requires us to have a legal reason (a "lawful basis") for each way we use your information:
- Replying to your message or request. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us about our business and products.
- Sending you updates about a product you registered interest in. Lawful basis: your consent, which you give when you register. You can withdraw it at any time by replying "unsubscribe" to any update or emailing [email protected].
- Analytics and running the website. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the website working and secure, and understanding how it's used.
We don't sell your details or share them with anyone for marketing.
Where it's stored
Form submissions are stored in our Google Workspace account (Google Sheets and Gmail). The website is hosted by Cloudflare, and its fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Like any website host, these services process technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages to you.
Google and Cloudflare may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. When they do, they protect it with safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK–US data bridge or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry or keep you updated, and delete them when you ask us to or when they're no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also object to us using it on the basis of legitimate interests, and withdraw your consent to updates at any time. Email [email protected] or use our contact form.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK, that's the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
